Jimmy is Vice President of Transactions at Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Asia Pacific. Previously, Jimmy was the Managing Director, MSD Early Investments - Greater China at Merck & Co. He was responsible for Merck's venture capital investments, licensing, acquisitions, external research collaboration, and alliance/partnership management in Greater China. Jimmy was also a Senior Vice President at Synergenics, LLC, a professional service and venture firm. Synergenics invests and manages early-stage companies in drug discovery, vaccine, diagnostics, and healthcare IT. Jimmy was previously a consultant at McKinsey & Company, a registered patent agent in the Palo Alto office of Morrison & Foerster, and a project manager at Chiron Corporation (now part of Novartis). Jimmy received his BS in biochemistry from Nanjing University, and PhD in biomedical sciences from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He received his MBA at MIT Sloan School of Management.

Chinese Enterprise Association Inc. (CEA) and China General Chamber of Commerce USA (CGCC) are pleased to invite you to attend this year’s China-California Investment Forum at Sofitel Hotel in Redwood City.

CEA was founded in 1997 to assist Chinese companies doing business in Northern California. In 2005, CGCC, a federation of Chinese chambers of commerce in the United States, was established. CEA then joined CGCC and became its Northern California chapter. Today, CEA has over 200 members in Northern California and CGCC represents nearly 2,000 Chinese companies in the US, whose parent companies are all incorporated in China.
